Pastor Scoggins faithfully served under the guidance of District Elder K.R. Woods, who was the Pastor of Covenant Worship Center Church in Berkeley, California, for a decade. During this time, she held the roles of Care Pastor and New Members Director, all while experiencing the divine favor in her life. Recognizing her divine calling, Pastor Scoggins embraced the opportunity to become the Associate Pastor at Mt. Calvary Pentecostal Church in San Diego, California, under the leadership of Overseer T.L. Carter. She also answered the call to be an Evangelist, spreading the Word of the Lord both nationally and internationally. In 2013, she had the honor of serving as the keynote speaker at the "Revive me oh Lord" Women's Conference in Naples, Italy.

Beyond being a speaker, Pastor Scoggins is also a visionary. For the past two years, she has been entrusted with the mission of restructuring, rebuilding, and assisting some of the most prominent ministries and leaders in Northern California.

Currently, Pastor Scoggins holds the positions of Founder and CEO at Pastor Bessie Scoggins International Ministries and the Phenomenal Woman Empowerment Alliance (PWEA). In 2014, she established her non-profit organization, "Rebuilding a Better Me," which empowers individuals who have experienced traumatic life events. Pastor Scoggins is also an accomplished author, having written two books: "Memoirs of a Phenomenal Woman" and "Victorious Living for Moms."

In July of 2014, Pastor Scoggins received a clear calling from the Lord to launch her own ministry as the Senior Pastor of Empowerment Church in Antioch, California.

One of Pastor Scoggins' most cherished roles is that of a mother to her three beautiful daughters: Alesia, Aijalon, and Nyalah. She remains dedicated to being a influential voice not only within the 21st Century church but also to the global community. Pastor Scoggins firmly believes in the transformative power of prayer and is committed to living a holy and righteous life unto the Lord. She is resolute in her mission to empower God's people, guided by the Holy Spirit, knowing that she has not merely been called but chosen to make a lasting global impact for such a time as this.
